Our xmas stay was great! The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the natural surroundings. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The hot springs were very relaxing and a great way to unwind after a day of skiing. The food was plentiful and delicious, especially the local cuisine.
Some dishes were too sweet for our taste. , the location was a bit far from the ski slopes and we had to take a shuttle to get there.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel by the river! The location on a hill provided stunning views of the mountain opposite and the river below. The staff were very welcoming and catered to our every need in a friendly and unobtrusive manner. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a sitting area and terrace. The hotel also offered a variety of services, such as a spa and wellness center, sauna, and massage. Additionally, there was a dining restaurant, bar/lounge area, and snack bar available. We also appreciated the convenience of the shuttle service that provided transportation to and from the hotel.

We stayed at a relaxing retreat on a hill by a mountain stream. The rooms were spacious, featuring comfortable tatami mats and mattresses. The traditional Kaiseki dinner was exquisitely prepared, and the attentive staff ensured guest comfort and satisfaction. The hot springs were separated by gender, and there was also a private onsen available on the 2nd floor. The beautiful location on the river provided a serene view, perfect for a romantic couples' getaway.
The overly sweet food and sakes, which could have benefited from more balance and subtlety in the kitchen.

The view from the room was breathtaking and the sound of the nearby river was very calming. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony. The hot springs were designed beautifully and really relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.
There wasn't much to dislike about our experience at the hotel. It was a bit of a location challenge for us but we knew that when we booked and it was worth it once we arrived.
